About » Dr. Dudney
Dr. W.C. Dudney, III, M.D., was raised in east Texas, attended the University of Arkansas while on a Navy scholarship, and after serving overseas as a military psychiatrist began his South Tampa practice twenty years ago. A well-reviewed, solid, practical, compassionate, and no-nonsense doctor, his office-based practice treats anxiety, depression, A.D.D., and weight issues. The Tampa clinic is so well known for weight loss that it was featured on ABC's Prime Time Live as the safe and proper way to administer diet medications, and was recently Gold Winner for Best Weight Loss Clinic in the South Tampa News readers' poll. Dr. Dudney has also been an invited speaker to the National Football League on alcoholism and a speaker on prescription drug abuse to the U.S. House of Representatives. Over his career he has served as Chiefs of Psychiatry and Medical Staff at several hospitals. He is married to Lisa Dudney B.S.W., a psychiatric social worker, and they have three grown children.
Dr. Dudney received his M.D. as a Navy scholarship student at The University of Arkansas, Little Rock. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has special qualifications in weight loss and addictions.
