Dr. W.C. Dudney, III, M.D., was raised in east Texas, attended the University of Arkansas while on a Navy scholarship, and after serving overseas as a military psychiatrist began his South Tampa practice twenty years ago. A well-reviewed, solid, practical, compassionate, and no-nonsense doctor, his office-based practice treats anxiety, depression, A.D.D., and weight issues. Dr. Dudney has also been an invited speaker to the National Football League on alcoholism and a speaker on prescription drug abuse to the U.S. House of Representatives. Over his career he has served as Chiefs of Psychiatry and Medical Staff at several hospitals. He is married to Lisa Dudney B.S.W., a psychiatric social worker, and they have three grown children.

Education

Dr. Dudney received his M.D. as a Navy scholarship student at The University of Arkansas, Little Rock. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has special qualifications in weight loss and addictions.
